I changed to a new skein of yarn and worked about 20 rows when my Mom walked in and said “Your dye lot must not match, the color is off.”
I can’t tell, but now I’m anxious. :-x
Is the [restrained] child yours? I'll probably sound old and decrepit for saying this (heck, I AM), but always take a half a second to appreciate and enjoy him all along the way - these days will pass soooooooo quickly. My oldest 'baby' just turned 28 this past weekend... and it still seems like just a few months ago that she was underfoot and into everything! (Alas, she's still living at home... but sooner or later she'll get tired of me and I'll miss her when she does!) Hugs for both of you!
Hi!! Thank you so much for your kind words!! I have 2 littles of my own, and one who stays with us 2 days a week. The post you are referring to showed a picture of the one who is not mine!!
It’s interesting being a mommy, you see these little pieces of you wandering around who rely on you for every part of their existence!! I’m lucky that I am able to stay home with them and be a part of it all. I never want them to grow up!!
But when they do grow, I will knit them more sweaters
I have been hesitant to post pictures of these!! These giant socks are what I have been lovingly busting my fingers on for the past few weeks!
A year ago my girlfriend Christy asked me if I could make her 4 stockings, and I did!!! I’m pretty proud, not gunna lie.
Wondering what my Mr. is going to say when he comes home from his shift and finds yarn in the bathroom… Sure I could pick it up, but why do the work?
