My husband wanted me to proof read a paper he wrote on Juvenille crime prevention programs which, needless to say, I was not looking forward to. He showed up home from running errands with snickers, iced coffee (it was 88 here today), and a ball of yarn.

Mom started a new blanket during her visit.
I think her mission in life is to keep people warm with love and shell stitch. (that is the name of this stitch… right?)
Mom finished the blanket she made for Nicholas.
This is a picture of the edge at the corner of the blanket where she switched the yarn from blue to green….
She said this was the part of this particular blanket she was most proud of!
